The special story of the original olive oil from Israel
Our olive oil originates from the olive groves in the Migdal village on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. This is where the ancient village of Magdala from the Second Temple Period (2,000 years ago) was recently discovered.
The olive tree farm was founded by brothers Sami and Yehuda Almoz when they came from Turkey to the Land of Israel many years ago. When their son and nephew Moti retired from the Israeli Army, after a long service, he and his family joined his 87-year-old uncle Yehuda, where they continue to cultivate and develop the olive groves. Their hard work and dedication, alongside students from Adam and Adama high school (a unique agricultural focused educational institution) has formed an incredible multi-generational partnership that has deep roots in farming the Land of Israel.
The unique climate in the Galilee combined with virgin limestone soil and the Almoz family’s dedication to the olive trees have culminated into perfect conditions for producing a rare, high quality, delicate olive oil.
